Hi Lando, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
From Dallas, Texas to the heart of Houston, I took a leap most people only talk about. I moved to attend Texas Southern University, studying Communication with a focus on Radio, TV, and Film—but my real education came from betting on myself. After six years as a retail manager, I walked away in 2025 with no blueprint, no handouts, and no guarantees… just vision and drive.
I launched my own podcast from the ground up, learning everything as I went. Fast forward almost a year later, and that risk is paying off—I’ve stepped into the world of film, hosted red carpets, and now I’m breaking into modeling and walking in fashion shows. Every move I make is self-built, self-taught, and self-driven.
My journey is still unfolding—this is just the beginning. The peak hasn’t even been touched yet.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t been smooth—and that’s what makes it real. Stepping away from a stable career meant facing financial uncertainty and the pressure of starting over from scratch. There were moments of doubt, long nights of figuring things out alone, and times when opportunities didn’t come as quickly as the vision. Breaking into media without connections forced me to build my own network, prove myself in unfamiliar spaces, and stay consistent even when recognition was low.

I’m the creator and host of the Lando Land Podcast — a space where real conversations meet luxury, confidence, and connection. I specialize in discussions around relationships, dating, sex, lifestyle, and self-expression, while creating an atmosphere that feels entertaining, honest, and unapologetically bold. My goal is to make guests and listeners feel comfortable enough to open up and share authentic experiences people can truly relate to.
I’m becoming known for bringing personality, energy, and transparency into every interview. I like blending deeper conversations with fun, modern topics and creating a vibe that feels more like a genuine experience than a traditional interview. Whether we’re talking about love, nightlife, ambition, or personal growth, I want every episode to feel memorable and culturally relevant.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people naturally. I don’t try to force conversations — I create a space where guests can be themselves. I also bring a unique mix of Southern personality, media training, and creative ambition that gives the podcast its own identity. Lando Land isn’t just about interviews; it’s about creating a world centered around love, luxury, confidence, and real conversation.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
The biggest risk I took was walking away from a stable six-year career in retail management to chase a vision I couldn’t fully see yet. I gave up consistent income and security to step into the unknown—starting a podcast, entering the media world, and building something from nothing without a safety net. There were no guarantees it would work, but staying comfortable felt like a bigger risk than betting on myself.
