So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My professional path started out in the beauty industry 24 years ago. I’ve always been Behind the scene of weddings and have witnessed just how joyous or stressful one’s “big day” can be. Though weddings can be very hectic, I’ve always had the gift of calmness and assurance on those days. Also, I understand how lucky and privileged I am to be an important part of their special day.
Well, here I am many years later and taking all the experiences I’ve been exposed to that will help guide me through this new journey of owning an event space.
By owning a successful Hair Salon in the heart of The Woodlands, the connections Built throughout the years have given me a huge advantage to being yet again a new female small business owner in my town. I plan to keep my mantra of always giving back to my community and adding exceptional value to this great country that I’m grateful for.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I seem to be drawn to challenging goals. This new project has definitely reiterated to me the importance of persistence and and unwavering confidence in my dreams. My husband and I had obstacles along the way… and then Covid came along and rattled and stirred up this project more than you can ever imagine! The feeling of defeat is relatable these days since this pandemic has touched all of our lives. We mustn’t give in to a temporary problem and allow it to alter our path. I had to make many adjustments to fulfill this vision. The obstacles will always come. I have had disappointments in my life just like everyone else… I remind myself that I am resilient like a diamond that can’t break, and keep on with a grateful mindset.

The Peach Orchard is a historical landmark in the woodlands and We are proud to honor its rich and sweet heritage. We have converted it to an event space for weddings, corporate Events, as well as any milestone or life event celebration. I am proud Of my team and we are passionate about the privilege of celebrating life’s moments with people.
