Today we’d like to introduce you to Letitia and Kedrich Randolph.
Letitia and Kedrich, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Letitia Randolph, a Chicago native that came to Houston when my parents retired from the military and attended Texas Southern University earning my Bachelor of Liberal Arts & Behavioral Sciences minor Human Resources. I am also a Birth and Postpartum Doula.
Kedrich Randolph, a native Houston raised in third ward and owner of SnoGrill, famous for the SnoBurger and soft shaved snocones.
When our restaurant and home received damages from the Harvey storm in Houston, we decided we needed to come up with a plan and fast.
When I was a little girl I started off sewing black raggedy Ann dolls and crocheting blankets. Kedrich grew up around entrepreneurs – the biggest influencer was his grandmother whom started her own business cleaning the wealthy homes in third ward back in the day.
Taking all of our skills and passions we decided we would start – THE NEEDLE.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been smooth but we try to not focus on the challenges. We are blessed to be alive and healthy along with our children so we consider that a win – life is short we are choosing to live it!

We are most proud when our customers trust us! From a young entrepreneur allowing us to bring that image to life, Principals from different school districts picking out their school plaids or uniform packets, CEO’s or Representatives from companies knowing we can provide clean and high quality looks, to individuals wanting to surprise someone special in their lives with custom items.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success for us comes from that strong handshake or the huge smiles from our customers – knowing we just did not provide a service but we built a relationship.
