Today we’d like to introduce you to Lila “The Laundry Fairy” Taylor.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We are a homeschool family with four daughters. our business is 100% family-owned and run by 100% of my family. Even our daughters fold, hang clothes and lint roll clothing. In our business, we have two golden rules we live by: 1) love God and magnify him in all of our actions. 2) Love his people every day no matter what.
When we started our little company, we had no idea what to expect. We just left it in the hands of the Lord and we let him grow it to what it has become. We work through his will and his way. We had a plan that if we could get 10 clients, then it would help financially. But we ultimately left it in the hands of the Lord and He has blessed us with over 100 clients within the first four months of us being open and still growing. We love our clients. To be able to impact the community in a positive way is such a blessing. We serve the sick, disabled, handicapped, overwhelmed moms, busy Entrepreneurs, the elderly, commercial, and so much more.
Our company started with the idea of a need that we had. My husband had a job that kept him out of town for over 200 days out of the year. Keeping our family close became a concern. So, we decided to buy a huge camper and travel with him. At first, it seemed like a dream. Like we were in an adventurous movie. But we quickly learned a few hardships of having a home on wheels. As a family of six (we have four daughters), our greatest battle was LAUNDRY. Sometimes, we would go for two weeks without doing laundry. And we always talked about how it would be so nice if someone would invent a laundry service where they would come pick up our laundry, use the brand of detergent we chose (my family has sensitive skin), and then bring it back. When my husband got a promotion, we decided to take roots somewhere. Conroe, Tx seemed like a perfect fit. And a few days after we unpacked all the boxes, we hit the ground running with the laundry company of our dreams and to maybe fulfill the dreams of others.
Has it been a smooth road?
When we started, we had 1 washer and 1 dryer. We requested a 24 hr turnaround so my husband and I could set our alarm to wake us every hour and we would do laundry literally all night. As an entrepreneur, you do whatever it takes. This particular time, it took a lot of coffee. We now have more washers and dryers PRAISE THE LORD.

We are a laundry valet company. We come to your location (work, play, or home) to pick up your laundry. Then, we wash, dry, fold AND hang it. Then, we return it to the location of their choice. We create a custom profile for each client. As a family with sensitive skin, we know the importance of doing your laundry your way. As a busy family, we understand the value of convenience for pickup and delivery. Our clients are quite the variety. We care for the sick and disabled. We have stayed at home moms with A LOT of kids. We work with hoarders and restorations. I think that is the thing we are the proudest of. We truly take care of people. What sets us apart is the amount of laundry we will take in bulk. Most places only allow a certain amount. But we welcome the mountain that has taken over their lives.

Our city is perfect for this service because people deserve it. This city has some of the hardest working, endearing, and busiest people I have ever met. They deserve to live a life not bound down by laundry.
Pricing:
- $20 per 13 gallon trash bag for the full basic service
- $10 per 13 gallon trash bag to only fold and hang clean clothes
- $35 per 13 gallon trash bag for industrial work clothes (mechanic, offshore, etc.)
- $25 King and Queen comforters
