Today we’d like to introduce you to Liliana Jaimes
Hi Liliana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always loved Christmas and holiday cheer. I’ve always found a lot of joy in decorating my home for the holidays, and my friends and family would always tell me how much they liked my creative vision when it comes to Christmas decor. A lot of them would ask me for help to decorate their homes as well. They were always happy with my ideas and when my kids went off to college, I was really encouraged to turn my passion into a business.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every endeavor comes with its own unique challenges. Thankfully, I have had a lot of support to keep me growing as a business owner. At the beginning, my primary focus was on creating wreaths and floral arrangements, mainly as a hobby for my close friends. My kids, my husband, and my friends encouraged me to share my work on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Through this online promotion, I was finally able to gain more clientele outside of my circle of family and friends. What was once a hobby was starting to become a solid business. I have also found inspiration, joy, and solidarity through the online decor community, which has continued to fuel my passion and keep me going in my own decor journey. My social media accounts continued to grow, and I started to make videos and sell more.
It has been a challenge learning to make my own way in the decor world, to build a business model, and to have the confidence in myself to know that I can do it. I am still working every day to grow my business, explore my unique creative vision, and find new platforms and avenues to connect with new clients.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do home decor for all seasons. My specialty is Christmas decor – I decorate unique, themed Christmas trees and create original garlands and wreaths. I am known for working closely with my clients to bring to life any theme or vision they may have for decorating their home for the holidays and using my creativity to bring it to life. I also create my own original designs that my clients can choose from. I am most proud of the satisfaction that my clients get. I love seeing how the decorations bring happiness into their homes and to the families. I am also proud of the fact that I have been able to build a loyal client base and great relationships with each of my individual clients that return to work with me each year, and that each year I am able to build new relationships as well. What sets me apart is my attentiveness to the clients’ wishes and making their dream holiday decor come to life with my unique touch.
