Hi Lindsay, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always dreamed of owning a business with my sister, and during the COVID shutdowns, we decided it was time to make that dream a reality. I’m an Optometrist, and my sister was managing a high-rise apartment complex in Houston. Both of us were feeling the weight of stress in our roles, and we knew we wanted to do something different—something that would bring joy into our lives. So, we started brainstorming a business that would be filled with happiness and fun!
Three years later, we’re thrilled to have two venues up and running, with a third on the way. It’s been an incredible journey of growth, challenges, and most importantly, joy. We never expected our leap into this new adventure would lead us here, but it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made.”
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Overall, it’s been a smooth journey. Our biggest challenges have been navigating construction and funding delays, and finding creative ways to get our name out there.

What are your plans for the future?
We are currently working on a new Escapology Venue in Waco, TX and will be adding a 4th location in the central Houston area in the near future. Our Houston (Cypress) location is adding a new game in December called Haunted House.
