Today we’d like to introduce you to Lori Kimbro and Patricia Guillet.
Lori and Patricia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After a 20 year friendship, the two of us thought we would combine our knowledge and expertise to create a line of good clean skincare and at home treatments to essentially bring the spa home.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We were both in agreement on pretty much everything from the start. Patricia has 30 years in skincare and spa ownership and I myself have successfully started and ran multiple businesses but nothing prepared either of us for the many small details involved in creating labels, finding sources for the ingredients we needed and the volume of production. It was tedious and took much longer than we first expected. Finally, ready to start our first add campaign at local esthetician’s shows and COVID hit and everything was canceled. So yes, we have had a few obstacles along the way.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Rewind Skin Solutions Inc – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
We developed a clean organic line of skincare products and partnered them with an at home micro treatment that infuses one of our serums at the same time. There is no other device available on the market like it. The same treatment in a spa would cost $300 – $400 dollars but our program is only $149.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I have lived in Houston all my life and it’s one of the most diverse cities in the US. It’s a great place to start a new business.
