Today we’d like to introduce you to Louis Dorsey.
Hi Louis, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Back in January 2008, God gave me the vision to start an outreach ministry, which he named On The Road For Christ Outreach Ministries. I have gotten to where I am today by God leading and guiding me to help the men and women that are in the prisons know that in spite of what they have done, God stills loves them and allows me to go into minister and counsel and mentor to them. He has also lead the ministry team to do outreach to the homeless and different communities.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been, and there will still be bumpy roads ahead. Be able to get approved to go into the prisons. Getting connected with the right people that have the same love for God and people that need a little help to know that they still can make it.

I specialize the preaching the word of God. I help people when they need someone to talk to about what is going on in their life. I am most proud of being able to reach the lost souls. And go back into the prisons and give the brothers and sisters hope that if he did it for me, he can definitely do it for them.
What does success mean to you?
Knowing when you have reached those that are unfortunately not where they want to be but want help to get to a place where they can build a better relationship with God and a place where they need to be.
