Today we’d like to introduce you to Love Reed.
Love, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in California. I decided to move to Houston for a better life for me and my kids. I worked a couple of job like Walmart and a place where I sold men’s suits and a couple of waitresses jobs. The last job I had was at a telemarketing companying selling AT&T business phone lines. I was one of their top seller so they moved me up to team manager. I did so well at being team manager they moved me to their corporate office. I was happy for a while till I realize there was no going up from there. This was around 2007 when I seen some of my friends had their real estate license killing it in home sales. I then started studying to get my license. I was on some 4-hour work week stuff before I even knew about the book. I would finish all my work early and study for the rest of the day. It didn’t take long for my boss to take notice. I was fired so off the real estate I went.
Unfortunately for me this was around the time the market started to crash. People were losing their homes and the rental market started to rise. I went to work for an apartment locating company. I work with that company for several months then decided to start my own apartment locating business with a friend. Starting my first business wasn’t at all that scary. Figuring out how to keep it running was another story. I failed at a couple of more jobs before I realized real estate investments is my passion. Investing and passive income was always the goal from the beginning. I brought my first piece of land in April. I’m so excited to start building new single family home here in Texas. As far as passive income, I have my first Airbnb up and running in the Heights area.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. Remind you I got my license when the recession begun in 2008. I had no training or clue on what was happening in the market at that time. The odds were against me being a new real estate agent. If I would have known then what I know now, I could have made some great investments. What I’ve learned was recessions provide a lot of opportunities for investors.

Love Kreative Investments is a problem-solving business. We help people that are behind on their payments, inherited property or home in need of repairs. We give our clients valuable information about their property to make an informed decision. Rather that’s letting my company buy there home for cash. Or by offering my Realtor’s services and helping them list and sell. Love Kreative investments started back when a friend came to me for help. My friend’s mother had inherited her aunt’s property that had passed away. There were also tenants living rent-free and stop taking care of the property. I had to do a lot of research on inherited property and it took us months but we got the deal done. We are mostly known for amazing customer service and serving others. But what we are most proud of as a company is being able to add value in urban communities for the people who live there. What sets us apart is our amazing customer service and our willingness to go the extra mile.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Next, I plan on starting an all-girls charity. I want to give back to young girls that are in need of mentorship. Growing up in the projects, I wish my friends and I had something like it. I’m looking forward to becoming a new developer here in Houston. Especially in the kind of communities where I come from.
