Meet Luis and Abigail Castillo of Prestige Granite Custom Works in Highlands

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis and Abigail Castillo.

​As the owner of Prestige Granite Custom Works, Luis brings his personable attention, commitment, outstanding work ethic, and broad experience to each client and project. He has worked in all aspects of construction and building for more than 15 years. With a specialty as an interior designer and Granite, Marble specialist, he has gone on to advance his skills as a general home remodeling contractor. Growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico and starting to work in construction as a teenager, he understands the value of the most mundane of tasks while demonstrating exacting and detailed craftsmanship in all that he does. A comfortable and easy communicator, he perceives and recognizes the subtlety in his clients’ communication and responds with understanding, advice, and action.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In every business there are ups and downs, coming from California with a big clientele and having no customers in Houston was a challenge at first. But working hard as we have done all this time, providing great customer service and quality in the work we do we have gained customers and referrals and the most important customers’ trust.

Please tell us about Prestige Granite Custom Works.
We are turn key contractors. We do complete home remodel, Custom Kitchens, Bathrooms, Flooring, Stairs, Walk -in Showers, Fireplaces, Patios, Granite, Marble, Quartz Countertops, We have had some customers who got their whole house flooded frustrated with no clue how to put their home back together and we had taken those projects from start to finish and they don’t have to worry in getting an Electrician, Plumber, etc.

As a company we are proud of provide our customers a great service and quality in all our  renovations serving Houston and surrounding areas.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is when I bought my first skateboard with the money I made helping one of my neighbors with the construction of a sidewalk, that was my first project too!
