Today we’d like to introduce you to Lundin Aries

Hi Lundin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a young activist that is from Alief Houston Texas. I grew up watching my mother be such a strong willed activist in Houston, Growing up I’ve seen her go through obstacles on paving a way on making a difference and fighting for bettering her community and the lives of others she is who has inspired me to want to spread the most highs love and create a better life for everyone I can. I started be just her little helper through all the community events such as back to school, food drives, fighting against crime, and helping individuals from being a refugee starting their new lives here setting them up for success to domestic abuse victims getting away from a violent relationship. Growing up all through middle, high school i continued to help my mother with the community events and begin doing my own aswell giving away over couple thousands backpacks to children in need for school to far. This year i begin to show my style as a young activist by creating a back to school event where we can unite the youth and the hood to come out in unity with our politicians and law enforcements with live performance for up and coming music artist in Houston, award winning food vendors and along side of clothing brands striving in Houston. It was such a pleasure bringing all these amazing people together to celebrate the important thing and its unity.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This path has not been a smooth road i believe everyone that is pushing for something bigger than wether its for themselves or for others is a uphill battle we striving out of uncomfortablitly by continuously building as individuals, building relationships, dealing with self doubt and the low count of people that takes the different paths it gets lonely, responsibility sets in aswell as self doubt sometimes but this is where we build that armor and keep pushing and being your own supporter first it definitely a spiritual battle. There has been many people that did not believe in me or want to help, also many that has said no to me but it just gave me more ammunition to keep going. Also being a Young Woman fighting that stigma or traditional views of how woman should carry themselves put up and in the kitchen i want to show just like many other aspiring women that we are bosses aswell as paving a way for young ladies to strive for to make a change and to dream bigger aswell or young men.
