Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyd Araujo
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi,
I’m Lyd a native Houstonian. I love my City. I love traveling and trying out new cuisines. I’ve been a foodie all my life. I would always take picture of our meals. My personal Instagram started to look like a food only page. I decided to create another instagram for my food experiences. I’d say about six months in I had a reel go viral and gained a lot of new followers. I love trying out different places and finding hidden gems. I love helping restaurants grow and showcase their yummy food. Everyone that eats with me knows my phone eats first.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I didn’t really know what I was doing, I was just showcasing my love for food. Once restaurants started reaching out to me I had to learned how to edit better and got better lighting. Sometimes the algorithm isn’t on your side. You just have to keep posting and not give up.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a love and passion for food. My mother was an amazing chef and taught us not to be afraid to try new foods. I work with business owners to help them reach more people and show their amazing food. I’m very diverse I show case PopUps, Food Trucks, Fine Dining and some Fast foods too. My page shows food from all over the World like food from Africa, Turkey, America, Italy, India, Nicaragua, Thailand, Philippines, China, Argentina, Japan, Arabia, France, El Salvador,
Yemen,Vietnam, Spain, Columbia, Korea, and Mexico.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
When I was little, at the time I didn’t appreciate that my mother.would make me learn how to cook and let my brothers go outside to play. Now those are my most cherished memories of bonding with my Mother.
