Hi Lymaris, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I am the owner of Vera Hair Co. I have always loved helping others. I knew that I was already doing that by transforming my clients’ hair, but deep inside my heart, I felt like I had to do more. As a business woman and entrepreneur, I knew how hard and intimidating was to start from the beginning, I wanted to help other newer stylists on their path. I always wanted my own salon, And I realized that that was a great way to help others. I opened a new salon with a different concept. Where all of our beauty professionals are independent, they all lease their stations and/or suites, or getting trained to eventually do so. while we all support and help each other out!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey hasn’t been easy. From selling my house to make the salon possible, trying to balance mom life with the long working hours, trying to find my inner peace inside of the everyday craziness. It’s all stories that I like to share with my stylists, because I want them to learn from me and get ready for the amazing future they have yet to come!

Vera Hair Co. serves as a home salon for some of the best independent beauty professionals in the area! Not only do we provide the best service for our customers, we make sure to spoil them with drinks and snacks during their visit, we treat them like family, but we also have an amazing team! Our goal is to help, support and encourage each other to grow and always go for more!
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The beauty industry is changing throughout the years. Beauty professionals are taking the time to stay up to date with new techniques and services for our customers. We are realizing that there is so much more to offer and plenty of space to grow. Hairstylists, barbers, aestheticians, lash and brow specialists, and all types of beauty artists are taking this industry to a new level.
