Today we’d like to introduce you to Maggie Judge.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Oh there’s nothing brief about my story! But here are the highlights. I am a single mom of four Incredible girls. I put myself through nursing to be able to support my family. Then in September of 2017 I won a free boudoir session with local photographer Violeta Brown. I had a blast and started sharing my photos in local photography FB groups where photogs started reaching out to do shoots in December 2017. Now today I have over 11k Instagram followers, am brand ambassador for Fashion Nova, and am currently working on a travel show, movie script, and TV show that will showcase the hidden amazingness of Houston!
Please tell us about your art.
I love inspiring people. Whether that’s as a photographers muse, a role model for women to love themselves truly and whole heartily, as a catalyst for those to do good in their community, or as a travel guide for someone to finally discover a part of the world they have always wanted to experience. I believe that in everything I do, being a woman of honor is most important and shows in my work, and that’s the message I want to put out in the world.
As an artist, how do you define success and what quality or characteristic do you feel is essential to success as an artist?
I think what is essential for an artist is to be true to themselves. It’s easy to get lost in trying to just be successful and famous that you lose sight on why you even started in the first place. Have fun. Laugh. Use your art as a way to put some good energy out in the world. Tell your story. It’s original and beautiful because it is yours. I feel successful and on the right path when I read through my messages that women send, sharing their painful journey to self-discovery and love. And it’s a true honor to be a part of that journey.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
Right now I have my instagram.com/thejudgemaggie. But I am working on a website to show case all of my work and also a separate one for each project. Check out my page and tell me what you think! I LOVE and share all the positive messages that are sent. It fills my heart with so much happiness when I get a message about how I’ve helped someone on their journey to self-love.

As I watched this beautiful lady grow I knew she would be successful at anything she put her mind to. She has shown the world that you do not have to be the perfect size 2 to be beautiful. She is beautiful inside and out. You can tell that by just seeing what she has accomplished in her time here on earth raising 4 beautiful daughters living so far away from family she is and will always be an inspiration to the world of plus size women and her daughters. I may seem prejudice towards this young lady as she is my niece. But that she is what she is

Great job Maggie. I follow you in insta. I have always enjoyed your pictures and what you do. As a dad of three daughters, I like seeing real women in modeling; showing my girls they do not have to be bones to be beautiful. So thank you for what you do. It helps us dads out.
