Today we’d like to introduce you to Manish Wani.
Manish, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I finished my training in Otolaryngology in June 2001. This included 4 years of Medical School, 6 years of residency and a one-year fellowship. Thereafter, I moved to Houston to join Texas ENT Specialists. I was the 13th physician hired. Today, we have grown to 33 physicians and 15 offices across the Houston metroplex. I am currently serving as Vice President of Texas ENT Specialists and also Assistant Chief of Staff at Houston Methodist West Hospital.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, I have been blessed and it has been a fairly smooth road. I have 2 wonderful children, both of whom are in college at UT Austin. My toughest struggle was going through a divorce almost 10 years ago. I am lucky to have a loving family and wonderful colleagues and friends.

I won the election for president in my 2nd-grade class.
