Today we’d like to introduce you to Maranda Evans.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I attended college at Sam Houston University (2010-2013) and got my MBA at Texas Southern University (2014-2016). I would say my journey started in college, but my story started at 11 years old when I lost my father, Randy Alexander Evans, to domestic violence. Despite going through losing all the men in my family, surviving sexual abuse, and heartbreaking relationships, I still found a way to turn it into a testimony through books and films.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it has not. I believe anything worth doing in your life or any success comes at a cost. There are going to be a lot of sacrifices to make. Whether it’s leaving unhealthy relationships, changing jobs or losing one, and most importantly removing the people who don’t want to see you successful. Some of my struggles were financial and mental. I work a full-time job on top of being an entrepreneur and it’s not easy. I also suffer from multiple mental illnesses that can sometimes get in the way of my dedication.
As you know, we’re big fans of Elemental Growth Mindset. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I have many businesses. Elements of ME, LLC. is my main business, but under that umbrella is Victorian Publishing, LLC., Evans Financial Solutions, LLC., and The Troubled Movement, a youth nonprofit. However, I want to take this time to speak about my life coaching business, Elemental Growth Mindset, as well as my newly released movie, Transcend, available on Amazon Prime Video and Tubi.
Being a multifaceted entrepreneur for 10 years, Maranda wanted to not only grow in her purpose but help others grow in theirs. Maranda is a Certified CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Techniques) Life Coach and CEO of Elemental Growth Mindset, a coaching program made for all genders, ages, sexualities, ethnicities, and spiritual backgrounds.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory isn’t one memory exactly. My favorite thing to do as a child was cook with my late grandmother, Mildred Victorian Stoot. I learned so many things from her and she was truly my heart and hero.
