So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My travel agent journey started with my destination wedding in Jamaica. It was a special moment because I was getting married but also because I was able to get friends and family who’ve never traveled to travel outside of the country. Hearing how this one trip broadened everyone’s views on travel gave me the inspiration to become a travel agent. One of my main goals was to ensure that people knew that traveling is possible and is not only for the wealthy.
Has it been a smooth road?
No it has not been easy. In the beginning sending quotes to several inquires without any bookings made it challenging. I was also working as a full time anesthesia tech in the medical field when I started Impressive Travels. Juggling my time between the two and figuring out a balance was an adjustment.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Impressive Travels Travel Agency story. Tell us more about the business.
Impressive Travels is a company that provides travel needs to anyone that wants to travel whether it is for business or leisure. We specialize in All-Inclusive Caribbean, Mexico, Destination Weddings and Cruises. As a company I am most proud of the rate at which I have been able to increase my sales and reach Pinnacle Elite status. Additionally, I haven been nominated for Agent of the year two years in a row. My customer service, passion, and first hand knowledge of travel sets me apart from other agents. My customer reviews tells it all,
Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years? Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?
In the next 5 years I see Impressive Travels working with well known companies and being there go to agency for all travel needs. As the brand expands so will the need for additional agents in the future.
