My Journey as a Hairstylist
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about the art of transformation. After graduating beauty school, I trained at a salon right away, eager to learn everything I could. Those early years shaped my love for this industry and my drive to help clients feel beautiful and confident.
Now, 12 years later, I’m still just as in love with my career. There’s nothing better than seeing someone’s face light up after a fresh cut or color. As a mom of two daughters, I feel so fortunate to work in such an uplifting and rewarding field. Helping others feel happy and confident is truly the best part of what I do!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Over the years, the hair industry has evolved constantly, with new trends, techniques, and products always emerging. Staying ahead has meant continuous learning and adapting, which I’ve embraced wholeheartedly. Becoming a new mom brought its own set of challenges, as I had to learn how to juggle my passion for hairstyling with the demands of motherhood. Finding a work-life balance wasn’t always easy, but with determination and a strong support system, I overcame those obstacles. Now, I’m proud to say I’ve grown both personally and professionally, cherishing the rewarding balance of being a mom and doing what I love.

I’m a hairstylist with over 12 years of experience, and I specialize in creating lived-in color and sun-kissed looks that enhance my clients’ natural beauty. I also take pride in crafting custom, flattering haircuts tailored to each person’s unique hair type, lifestyle, and features. What I’m most proud of is the trust and relationships I’ve built with my clients over the years—helping them feel confident and beautiful is the most rewarding part of my work. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my commitment to ensuring every client leaves my chair feeling like the best version of themselves.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Never limit yourself—be open to taking risks and embracing new opportunities. Seek out as much knowledge as you can, and remember that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. They’re not setbacks but valuable lessons that help you grow and evolve. No matter what type of salon business you start at, remember you are building your own personal business and to always do what’s best for you.
