Numerous clients over her 30+ year career have been thrilled, finding not only their ideal home but also a great friend. Marti’s friendships are a source of pride, and she likes to boast about the friends that life’s journey has granted her. She counts many all the way back as far as elementary school. Many people warmly call her, MartiP.

Real estate has been a lifelong career for MartiP. Starting out in multi-family leasing, advancing to property management to achieving her real estate license and ultimately owning her own brokerage. All of that would not have happened without the loyalty and trust she and her clients have built.
Marti feels privileged to treat her clients as her friends! From the initial “hello” until all the papers are signed, she never takes anything for granted with her clients. You can count on that! You can count on a lasting relationship with Marti, which is why she enjoys a robust and lasting referral base nationwide and several international locations as well.
Good Stewardship
The demonstration of Leadership in both professional and personal life has been one of the most significant means of Peer-to-Peer growth, in Marti’s opinion.
Giving back to her community is at the top of Marti’s living priorities, and you may often find her involved in some form of charitable event where she lives.
She is actively engaged in advocate councils, groups, networks, and within her church.
Marti served the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® as a Governor, Regional Vice President and member of the Executive Committee. She also Chaired numerous Texas committees, offices and was the 2000 Texas Women’s Council Network infamously referred to as Y2K which boasted nearly 20,000 members. And, committees, offices including President of her local network in Fort Bend County.
Her leadership skills were developed through the (formerly known) Leadership Training Graduate program developed by the council, and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.
Seeking Improvement
There is no better way to serve clients than to prioritize the importance of creating the optimum experience! In this spirit, #MartiP is constantly engaged in upskilling so that she has all the necessary knowledge about critical factors and trends that ensure success!
She continues ongoing training, learning new technology and tools, and coaching in order to stay at the forefront.
She never misses an opportunity to learn more about how to market and sell a property, and how the economics and demographics in an area can affect the transaction and price.
Knowledge is power in this business. Knowing there may be hurdles ahead makes avoiding those hurdles that much easier.
Another aspect of what Marti cherishes is the opportunity to share her honed skills. Any day she is not working on her own personal production, you might find her assisting, mentoring, and coaching young real estate professionals both in class and in the field!
On a Personal Note
Keeping her balance, Marti understands and cares very deeply for families. Her priorities are firmly rooted in what really matters in this life.
When asked to name her greatest accomplishment, she quickly defers to her daughter and family. Sonein Pattinson Noack and husband Mike also stand tall in their community in Denton County, TX where together they raised Marti’s grandchildren Aaron, Machala, and Gavin. All of which were raised to be leaders and are in leadership roles today. Her only and favorite brother got lost as a submariner around 1961, and he and his second generation CT Italian wife have made Connecticut their home for 54 years!
Marti is happily partnered to her beloved Frank, whom she met on the internet. Frank was obviously smitten from the beginning and still is. While Marti is still enamored with Frank! Their blended family is at the heart of everything she does and hopes to do.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While there have been a few challenges in Marti’s career, for the most part, it has been a steady career. She has always had a positive outlook on life and considers struggles to be more like opportunities to learn, change, and grow as one of her first Women’s Councilmentors taught her early on in her career.
Please tell us about Realm Real Estate Professionals.
Marti’s career specialty is residential real estate. She has always considered it like an Easter egg hunt. Finding that “golden home” is what she strives for with the least amount of drama. Because she listens to the wants, likes and needs of her client then scours and then purges the properties that do not fit the client’s needs, she is able to shorten the process of clients search. It is not unusual for her to introduce less than 15-20 homes and often under 10. But her real claim to fame is finding the right home and it being the first one on the list to preview. “With being a member of the absolute best association HAR.com that is the envy of country it is easy,” she claims!
When Marti is representing a seller, she is honest and bold with her advice as to what needs to be done to sell the property in the least amount of time. Pricing is always a critical factor. She tells a seller the good and the bad. Who they are competing for a buyer with. But also she is known for achieving the highest amount of return on investment for a seller. Realm Real Estate Professionals has been Marti’s brokerage of choice for a number of reasons. Realm is the second largest independently owned and operated brokerage with five locations that she utilizes across the Houston area. Marti counts the Owners as personal friends having known the Neil Reed family for many years. Anita Reed and Marti served together for Women’s Council. Jim Van Horn, Marti’s manager is another dear friend whom she has known nearly three decades.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Memories of my childhood are my friends. The trip to see the Beatles at the Houston Coliseum will never be forgotten. Can you just hear five young ladies begging Martha Ann’s (aka Marti) Daddy to – “please please and pretty please take us”? Can you imagine all the twisting, shouting and screaming as he drove them over a two hour journey to the “big city” in a hot unairconditioned station wagon? Now, that is a memory!
