So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have done massage all my life–when I was a child we lived in Bangladesh and my father would get migraines. I’d walk on his back and rub his shoulders. It wasn’t til I was 37 that I made a career of it. I love that someone can come in with pain and body misalignment and walk out pain-free. I get to be the best part of someone’s day. There’s nothing better than that.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I don’t think any entrepreneur would ever say it’s been a smooth road, but that’s what makes it worthwhile. I don’t see massage as a luxury, but rather as a means of healing and preventing injury. Our clinic focuses on helping you live your life the way you want.
I am lucky enough to have found some of the best sports massage therapists out there to help me and to help the clients.

We are exclusively a deep tissue and sports massage clinic. You can get a relaxing massage anywhere–we focus on helping you heal. Massage is an essential part of healing as well as injury prevention. We have seen clients from all sports, from casual participants to Iron Men to NFL, NBA, and everything in between.
What were you like growing up?
I was and am still an introvert. You wouldn’t necessarily think this is a good fit for such a people-focused company, but it allows me to zero in on the person in front of me and allows for no distractions. When you’re on my table, you’re the only person in the world.
