Today we’d like to introduce you to Micah Swanson.
Micah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Swanson Iron Works is a father-son run strength and conditioning gym in Magnolia, off of 1488. Between us, we have over forties years of experience training everyone from the suburban mom trying to lose weight to professional athletes in the NFL. After forming a partnership with Legacy Prep Christian School, we opened our gym in June.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not always, both of us have had a long journey to get to this point. But we’ve been blessed with some amazing clients and friends that have helped keep us in business!
Please tell us about Swanson Iron Works.
Swanson Iron Works strives to give everyone a scientific-based and unique workout experience. No two workouts will ever be the same and we’re always learning new exercises and bringing in new pieces of equipment to push our clients to be their best! We specialize in training athletes, and have experience training middle school, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes of almost every sport!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Started our marketing sooner than we did. Getting people through the door is always a struggle when you’re a small business, so the sooner you begin getting the word out, the better.
