Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Of course, anyone who starts a small business knows it requires hard work. At the beginning, everything was sweat equity: contacting schools and nurses, doing the treatments ourselves, talking to camps, answering calls for appointments, reaching out to newspapers and publications, etc.
However, the biggest challenge we had was building awareness that Lice Clinics of America offers a much better way to treat lice and they don’t have to rely on over-the-counter products and nitpickers that don’t work. And over time, we have gain traction.
We now service 13 overnight camps in Texas. We have been featured in major publications and local TV interviews. In fact, we appeared on the tv show, The Doctors, last September to explain our treatment.
But we know there is still more work to do. The good news is as more and more of our happy customers spread the word about us to their friends, folks in Houston will learn that Lice Clinics of America has a cure for lice.
