Monica, please share your story with us.
When we got our first yorkie puppy, we had no idea where we would take him for his grooming. After discovering good groomers were difficult to come by, I started taking grooming classes and learning to groom on my own puppies. I soon realized this was a true passion of mine! My love for all dogs show with the amount of time I put into caring for each individual dog. My number one goal is to make sure each dog feels loved and can leave the salon without being overly stressed. I spend quality time with each dog and carefully handles them.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our biggest struggle has been to find products that are healthy and beneficial for each pet. Most products on the market today are only trying to make a profit, rather than produce products that are beneficial. So our number one goal has been to ensure that each product we carry in the salon is a product that we can guarantee will not harm any pets.
Please tell us about CF Personal Grooming Salon.
We are a full-service grooming salon, offering numerous spa services for our clients. We also provide a self-serve dog wash station where our customers will bathe their dogs using our facility and our supplies. We are known for carrying quality products that are beneficial for all pets. We do not stock any items that are harmful or have had any recalls. We specialize in creating a personal experience with each pet and their owner.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We are still under a year old and have already seen an increasing number of clients that are searching for a quality groomer. If we could start over, we would push that this is what CF Personal Grooming Salon offers to the Houston area. We are a quality groomer that maintains an open concept, allowing all pet owners to see 100% of the grooming process. We built windows where most would have walls, which has increased our clients trust in us, knowing we do not take their pets behind closed doors.
