Muhammad, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was a dedicated accountant with a decade of experience, reached a pivotal moment in my life when I desired to venture into entrepreneurship. Driven by a deep longing to create something of my own, I made a conscious decision to leave behind the security of a stable job and embark on a new path.
With my extensive knowledge of accounting principles and a passion for E-Commerce, I chose to open my own online stores. This was just the beginning of my business, as I knew that my passion for establishing my own empire would need to be explored more.
Although the transition from the corporate world to running my own business posed its fair share of challenges, I remained steadfast in my pursuit. I faced hurdles such as securing funding, finding a suitable location, and building a loyal customer base. Yet, armed with determination and a strong work ethic, I navigated through these obstacles.
Over time, my business flourished. With meticulous attention to detail, I ensured that his business operations were well-organized and financially sound. My accounting background played a pivotal role in managing finances, tracking expenses, and optimizing profitability.
Once I gain relevant experience and my business reached a certain level, I knew it was time to venture into more things. So, I started opening new stores and starting to spread my expertise into different fields.
Within a span of 3 years, I managed to start 7 Brands and have a presence in almost 8 Marketplaces, all by making sound decisions and taking the opportunity when it seems feasible
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest obstacle/challenge I faced was my lack of experience in the field. So, for me, the learning curve was a bit longer than usual, but I managed to get over it quickly
Other hurdles include getting the funding I need to operate my business. Securing the right funding was always been a challenge for me. I could have scaled my business 10 times more of that it is today, but due to the lack of funding, my growth has been steady and slow
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have my hands in different sectors, as I have a firm belief in the fact that “You do not put all eggs in one basket.”
