Meet Nabeel Iqbal of Cellular Wear Wholesale in Southwest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nabeel Iqbal.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Nabeel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We started off as small kiosks in various outlet malls. Back then we used to buy products for our kiosks from wholesalers like us today. After 5 years of running kiosks we opened up Cellular Wear Wholesale and have always made it our goal to carry a variety of products for our customers. The journey of becoming a supplier was quite different than opening a kiosk and marketing skills along with vendor and product knowledge were mandatory requirements. The journey in full has been a learning process for everyone in the company including myself being the owner.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the main struggles were gathering the right vendors with the right pricing. We are located on a street where our customers can go across the street and get the same products from elsewhere. Basically, maintaining competitive pricing with your peers, as well as satisfying the customer, and profiting your company all at the same time can be a hard struggle.

Please tell us about Cellular Wear Wholesale, Inc.
We specialize in cell phone and tablet accessories. We are most known for the variety of products we carry (different colors, brands, types, etc.)

We are proud to be a successful small company that has expanded and diversified in just a few years.

What sets us apart is how comfortable we make our customers feel. We build a relationship with them that makes them want to come back.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
As a child we were always told to get an ordinary job and make a living. My grandfather however was a well-known man back where I am from (Bahrain). My parents were not allowing me to come to America back in 2000, but my grandfather pushed me and said reach for the things that seem impossible and show people that they are possible. Every childhood memory with my grandfather was/is my favorite because each one involved him teaching me something about life that has molded me into the person I am today.
