Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Siddiqi.
Nadia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My journey started about 10 years ago, when I was still in my phase of being a total tomboy especially having only brothers growing up! So, one year my cousin back home in Pakistan was getting married, and we went to attend the wedding and my mother requested that I apply eyeliner at the most! I applied a winged liner for some odd reason remember seeing it in a magazine somewhere, then my cousins asked me to apply the liner on them and from there on I had slowly discovered and realized my talent! I started playing with color, and I just built from there on! It was a very colorful journey I must say and I’m so glad that trip happened!
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s never easy no matter what you are trying to succeed at! And if it’s a smooth road it means you didn’t try hard and it’s too good to be true! I have and still have downfalls, but the most important thing is you must tell yourself over and over “get back up, it doesn’t end here” I learned to forgive and literally forget. It has helped me move on from so much negativity!

My freelance business was established about 6 years ago when I had gained enough experience in my field and the confidence. I specialize in bridal makeup, photography, editorial, tv makeup. My work has the reputation of being very clean and not making the client look like a completely different person! I’m so proud that I have worked with a clean heart and pure intentions, although at times it did not seem that way, I never changed my honesty with myself. I’m self-made, and I don’t have to give myself to anyone! What makes me different is that I don’t base my looks off season, trend, social media, etc. I customize my looks to what fits your face and your personality, I make sure no one ever leaves my chair without a smile!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
If I had to start over I wish that I would have pursued my passion sooner in life! So, if you discover your talent don’t wait to knock that door down and make something of yourself!!
