Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadya Dhanani and Christi Blakkolb.
Nadya and Christi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Serendipity led us to discovering a franchising opportunity through Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center in Los Angeles. We were immediately drawn to the brand and its commitment to being at the forefront of innovation and providing clients with an unparalleled experience. We truly felt that a niche existed in Houston for the type of services they offered and how they offered them. Being physicians ourselves, we had a vision of what we felt would be best-in-class in the industry. Having poured our heart and souls into this venture, we are very proud of what we have built and are continuing to build in our community.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I am not sure that any new business venture can ever be completely “smooth”. As physicians, we have a ton of experience in providing excellent care, making sure we adhere to gold standards and knowing that efficacy and safety are paramount. However, learning about the business side of the aesthetic industry has been a steep but interesting learning curve. I would say our biggest challenge has been how to best tailor the well-established Beverly Hills brand to the unique and wonderful characteristics of our local Houston community.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center Houston story. Tell us more about the business.
Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center is based out of Los Angeles. It is a wellness and aesthetics company focused on making individuals look and feel better. We have opened the first Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center in Houston which is located in CityCentre (opened May 2019) and are scheduled to open our second location in River Oaks in December 2019. The plan is to expand to other locations in the greater Houston area over the next several years. The company focuses on providing the latest technologies to address all of our skin, body and wellness needs in an ultra-luxe environment with some of the best trained providers in the business. We pride ourselves in being able to create a truly personalized treatment plan for each of our clients, while also making sure our focus on customer service makes them feel comfortable and pampered.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck – only hard work. I do believe everything in life happens for a reason – the good, the bad, the ugly. We all deal with challenges and tribulations, but it is how we rise after a fall and move on that counts.
