Thanks for sharing your story with us Nicole. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Virtual reality has always intrigue me, so I decided to check out what was out there. That’s when I found the Cosmos game. I couldn’t believe that I could become and Avatar inside of game and play for one hour with 5 other friends. What was really amazing to me was that we could do this live not online, but in the same room. My first thought was OMG, I need to share this feeling and ExitusVR was created. Today, we not only offer the Cosmos, but we have Mind Horror. I get to become a detective inside of a game in search of a missing child. It is really incredible. Bringing family, friends and even co-workers together in a virtual environment is what we do at ExitusVR. Corporate Team Building exercises can open the door to better communication, we specialize in creating a world of fantasy and intellect for everyone to enjoy.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The first 6 months were difficult, we selected the wrong location when we open ExitusVR. Today we are in front of everyone driving on Hwy 59 on their way to downtown Houston. I believe that little by little we can let Houston know that we have a fun and exciting place where magic happens in virtual reality.
Please tell us about ExitusVR.
ExitusVR is the first and only virtual reality escape room and arcade in Houston. I specialize in creating packages for corporate teams to experience the future and enhance their communication skills. I am proud of what ExitusVR represents for our city, the future through the lenses of virtual reality. I am currently working on taking VR to nursing homes all over Houston. I believe there is a child inside of everyone waiting to have fun!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have found a bigger location, because there is so much I would like to share.
