We started an online store in 2007. As the demand increased over the years we opened up a retail storefront named Texas Hookah for local customers. Over the years we have seen a need for a hookah lounge that caters to everyone’s needs, so we opened Texas Hookah Lounge in 2016. Most lounges carry a couple of brands of shisha. At Texas Hookah Lounge we are capable of carrying over 20 different brands. Customers request a brand/flavor and we are able to bring it in from the store section.
Has it been a smooth road?
So far we have been lucky to increase business year after year. We believe it has to do with our vast knowledge of hookah and great customer service. All our employees are trained very well and love what they do.

Texas Hookah Lounge is part of Texas Hookah. Texas Hookah is a worldwide retailer for hookah and shisha products. We specialize in hookahs, shisha flavors, hookah charcoals, and hookah accessories. Being able to grow year after year in Houston, TX has given us the opportunity to expand our knowledge of hookah and our products that we are able to offer. We bring in the latest accessories and flavors from hundreds of brands all over the world. We believe by offering the newest and best products with our excellent customer service, we will be able to stay on top of any other hookah provider in Houston and surrounding areas.
Texas Hookah Lounge offers a vast variety of flavors to choose from with a very relaxing atmosphere in the afternoon where customers can relax, study, and work. On Friday and Saturday evenings things get a little wilder as guests come into party and hang out with friends. We are open every day from 11am-7pm and on Fridays and Saturdays until 10pm. Our hours will change as guests request to stay longer. We are all about our customers and what they want. The hookah lounge offers free Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks. We are BYOB and you can bring food in from anywhere. No extra charges for anything besides the hookah. We do things different!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Houston, TX is a great city. We have so many different types of people and the hookah lounge is a great place for everyone to meet and learn about each other. We loving seeing our customers interact with each other and learn from each other.
The worst part of Houston, is the traffic as everyone can agree. Being in the Medical Center and close to all areas of Houston such as Galleria, Downtown, and Rice we see the most amount of traffic. At the same time we are centrally located so it helps us as well.
