Today we’d like to introduce you to Ninoshka Dias.
Ninoshka, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My journey started at a very young age, when my Nana and mom would home-baked our custom birthday cakes, this is the time when I was wowed by this whole bakery idea. The aura of baking stayed with me as I continued to grow and later pursed a Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration with Bakery of course as my major! Then I went on to work with luxury hotels that ran custom bakeries in-house in India. When I moved to this side of the world, the dream to have my own cake business came with me😊! Here in Houston, I continued to work with wedding cake bakeries and continue to bake from home and that is where Ninoshka’s Cakes was born!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Well it’s been a pretty smooth road as baking to me is what keeps a smile on my face and a beat in my heart! Sparing a few road blocks, which business doesn’t have ’em!

Ninoshka’s Cakes bakes custom cakes for every occasion. Like it’s been said, “A Party without a cake is just a meeting!”, we also do cupcakes, cake-pops, cookies and Madelines to name a few! We specialize in making your party ideas come to life! As a company, we are most proud of the taste of our products every cake is made to order and always with utmost attention to details! The thing that sets Ninoshka’s Cakes apart is, “It’s all about the details and the quality of the final product.”
