Meet Noel Peterson-Foster of Leglamprincess

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noel Peterson-Foster.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Noel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My love for fashion began as a little girl growing up in Washington D.C. I would dream and fantasize about one day moving to back to the east coast from Houston New York specifically and working for Glamour or Elle Magazines, but my route was different I decided to write my own story. In 2010, while being a working makeup artist, I started the brand that is Leglamprincess. At that time, it was a handful of curvy bloggers that looked like me, that lived and breathed fashion just as much as the next. I decided to start my blog that was Leglamprincessofcurves. I began by consistently posting my outfits on Pinterest and eventually, my blog started picking up traffic. I was then noticed by another known fashion blog which took everything to another level.

I began my Instagram and consistently wanted to show that you can be curvy and fashionable. My following began growing and growing, to where it is today. Everything stopped for me when I became pregnant in 2015 with my first child and ended up having her at 23 weeks to which she only survived two weeks. I thought my life was over. How was I going to share such terrible news to my followers about a pregnancy that had been so public? I was lost. The moment I made the announcement that my husband and I went through such a traumatic loss, the amount of encouragement and feedback that I received from my followers honestly pulled me through and encouraged so many others who had been embarrassed to tell their story to come forward.

Three months later, I found out I was pregnant again with my now 3-year-old daughter. Having a daughter had been another dream of mine that I thought I would never get the chance to experience again. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I could not wait to show they there is light after darkness. My daughter and I are a mommy and me fashion moments are literally a dream come true and my followers fave! I then was inspired due to my love of shoes to begin something of my own! Thus, my shoe line NineTwentyOne was born and is continuing to grow every day. To anyone whoever has any doubt in themselves trust yourself and keep going! If I can do it you can!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road nothing great in life comes overnight. It was and still is a work in progress especially being a working mom. Mom guilt is real!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Leglamprincess – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I have two businesses. The business of being a fashion influencer, and running a shoe brand. What sets me apart is that I follow my intuition, not anyone else’s. What I am most proud of is that I inspire others and that I will have something to pass down to my daughter, and show her to never give up!

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My future plans I would way is to keep evolving! Focusing on being an all-around Girlboss!
