Today we’d like to introduce you to Nolan and Lucinda Conley.
Nolan Conley is a native Texan and has lived in the Texas Gulf Coast Region for all his life. He is joined by his wife Lucinda. Nolan and Lucinda have been happily married since 1983. Photography has been a passion for Nolan since the “photo bug bit” in 1978. The couple decided to open a full time photography studio in November of 1984 and it has been a successful operation ever since.
Nolan, Lucinda – please share your story with us.
We began doing sexy glamour and boudoir photography in the 80s… before it was trendy!
We decided to create a studio where women could get sexy photos to give to the person they love. All the while in a safe and comfortable environment with cutting edge photography and retouching, allowing our clients to be very pleased with the photos they gift.
More importantly, these ladies are photographed by a man, who inherently thinks like one and thus their intended person to gift to would be very pleased as men think differently and like different looks in a photo.
This studio has a multitude of pleased customers over the years and continues to do so today.
Has it been a smooth road?
The largest struggle was (back in the 80s) getting people to understand that sexy photography given to the person they love was not porn or something to look down upon.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with My Sensual Gift – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Lucinda and I have an 1100 sq. ft. studio and we are located on 2 wooded acres. We have so many different lighting effects and look that we can do. We have a pond with a waterfall, an outdoor shower, which is a favorite with the guys. We even have a wine bottle wall outside… it’s really cool! Upstairs in our studio… we offer pre-built sets in our loft studio which is separate from our main studio. We even have a daybed on which we photographed Anna Nicole Smith. We’ve been doing this for a while.
I think we are most proud of our reviews. If you Google “My Sensual Gift”, you will see that at present we have almost 60 5-Star reviews. Check any of our reviews. The ladies LOVE this and really have fun. The fact that we are a husband and wife team makes a real difference.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Houston is a great and diverse place. This means we get to meet a lot of really cool and different ladies! I, Nolan, really like women, especially the one I’m married to! She is irreplaceable!
The traffic in Houston is well, saying its horrible would be kind.
