Meet Nour Jaafar of Train With NJ Corporation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nour Jaafar.

Hi Nour, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Lebanon. I moved to the USA in 2012 at the age of 17. I began working a full time job shortly after arriving in America. I found myself working long hours, seven days a week. I realized I became stressed and I needed to find a hobby outside of work. That’s when I decided to join a gym. I spent countless hours outside of the gym researching and learning about nutrition and proper techniques since I could not afford a trainer or coach at the time. That is when my love for fitness was sparked. I started using my phone to record my routines and my progress and posting them to social media. I gradually grew a social media following and over time, I began to receive several requests for guidance. I took on a few clients and they wholeheartedly trusted me throughout the process. I helped them transform their bodies and with their testimonials, I grew my clientele. After building a solid reputation in the fitness community I decided to follow my dream full time. It was a scary decision but I believed in myself and was confident that my hard work and integrity would carry my business.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am fortunate that it has been a smooth road for the most part. I struggled in the beginning with the fear of failure but I always believed if you are doing what you’re passionate about you will succeed.

We’ve been impressed with Train With NJ Corporation, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I do in-person and online coaching. I specialize in contest prep, weight loss, muscle gain, strength and overall wellness. What sets me apart from other trainers/coaches is that I treat my clients like family. I put effort into each individual program. I am invested in their journey. I genuinely want to see them reach their goals. I am proud of how quickly my team has grown and the countless referrals from past and current clients.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
The only risk I have taken is quitting my full time job to follow my passion. If I had not taken that risk, I would not be where I am today. I would advise anyone who is thinking about getting started to believe in themselves and make the decision that has been scaring them. Consistency and hard work will get you to where you want to be.
