Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Liu.
Ryan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Chloe and I formed Optima Ninja LLC back in 2017 July; we started by providing comprehensive web design & development, along the way because we focused a lot on the user experience and graphic design. Our finished web design products have earned many clients. Earlier this year, we moved forward by providing Graphic Design & Printing service, and Digital Marketing service, in order to make Optima Ninja a one-stop solution provider for today’s business.
Since we can provide in-depth web development, we had the luck of getting some projects that needed complicated web solutions, including the development of Search Algorithms, Data Management, and Transfer, Inventory Management, Clients Management, Sales Flow Automation, etc. We actually had a few clients that had similar demands on custom solutions.
In the end, we were able not just to provide what they are looking for, but also to optimize what they currently had and led to an increase in revenue and reduction in the amount of human workflow. Both of these clients and we are are happy that we created win-win through our partnership.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenges we had were building the trust.
Because we were new, and we still are, compared to other Web Design & Development companies out there, it is hard to get attention, and even we did, it takes much more work to gain the trust. However, I can see that this is getting better and better along the way by building up our portfolio.
People can actually tell the difference in what we can deliver and how we can actually use technology to help the growth of a business (including ourselves).
Please tell us more about Optima Ninja.
We provide the following:
-Web Design & Development, Software Development(e.g., ERP system, CRM system, and other automation systems)
-Graphic Design & Printing(e.g., logo design, business cards, posters, flyers, and etc.)
-Digital Marketing(e.g., pay per click advertising like Google AdWords)
I am the chief executive of this amazing team but also act as a product manager. I also want to mention Chloe, who is totally in this with me, she is our Chief Technologist, the one who makes a lot of the development happen.
I am proud that as a newly formed Web Design & Development company, we were able to build a strong portfolio fast and handle big projects for other companies. The most important part is that both clients and we are happy with the results, and because of our business model, we built a long-term relationship with all our clients.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I was raised in a separated family, both of my parents had their own business. I was never a good kid in school, a matter of fact, I did have a lot of trouble, but along the way, I actually learned a lot from those memories, the good and the bad.
But I was tech-savvy even when I was very little. I liked to take toys apart, sometimes not just toys, but also some electronic device. Sometimes I could build them back together, sometimes I couldn’t.
There was one time I was trying to fix my video game’s power supply, so I took two different transformers apart, collected the “good” parts (or so I thought), then welded them back into one transformer and thought it would work. Guess what? The entire home got a power outage; I was about 10 years old.
