Meet Patty Jackson and Chef Vidal Jackson of Bundt Cake-A-Holic in Spring Cypress and FM 1960 area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patty Jackson and Chef Vidal Jackson.

Bundt Cake-A-Holic started with two things a dare and a desire to cook. A rum cake was mentioned and Chef Vital believed he could make the best rum cake and the challenge was on. Not only did Chef Vidal make a delicious rum cake, he also made a signature rum icing. Patty soon began to take the cakes to work and that’s what started the Bundt Cake-A-Holic history that is currently in the making.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Going in business has not been a smooth ride. There have been many challenges and we foresee many more. Everything is a challenge. For Bundt Cake-A-Holic staffing has been a challenge, finances have been a challenge, location has been a challenge, and more. The location that we were initially at closed. While so many other challenges exists, we were having to move and get re-situated. Personally, Patty goes to dialysis several times a week and that could be foreseen as challenge to many. Hiring family has been another area of concern. Also, packaging and transport are issues.
