Paul and Regina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The owners at Modern Kitchens & Vanities started as a commercial construction general contractor specializing in interior remodels and new construction. We have observed the increased demand for European style kitchens and restrooms, and Modern Kitchens & Vanities has added distribution and retail of European style kitchens and vanities to our portfolio in order to meet the demands of the market. Modern Kitchens & Vanities has a newly designed showroom and Montrose Blvd, and looks forward to providing a quality product and service to any potential customers looking to remodel their home or business!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Starting a new product line is always a challenge, and it has been uniquely challenging to Modern Kitchens & Vanities. Our biggest challenge has been making sure we have the styles and colors customers desire in order to compete with traditional style cabinets that are well known to the Houston market.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Modern Kitchens & Vanities – what should we know?
Modern Kitchens & Vanities specializes in modern cabinets and vanities. Our products are manufactured in Europe, as opposed to many of our competitors that import from non-European manufacturers. We differ from our competition in that all of our wood, laminate and veneer products are certified and comply with European Standards (ENs), and we can deliver and install our product with little to no wait time. As opposed to traditional style cabinets, our modern cabinets have a clean, sleek look without a frame with a gloss or laminate finish, solid color or wood look. We have 14 different colors in stock and can offer 200 different colors, providing our customers with many options. Our products can also be used to build closets, entertainment centers, dressers and other furniture. We do have an extensive line of traditional cabinets as well, from high quality to builder grade selections available. Additionally, as a general contractor, we can provide entire home remodeling services including tile, wood floors, carpet, countertops, bathroom remodels and more.
