Today we’d like to introduce you to Paulina Padilla.
Hi Paulina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve lived in Houston for almost 20 years now and have always worked in the fashion industry. I decided to leave my full-time job as a women’s apparel buyer to start something of my own. I’d been styling on the side for fun and finally took the leap to do it full-time as a career. It just snowballed organically into the business of my dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
“Quality not quantity” as I like to say. Keeping the quality of my services consistent is key. It can be a challenge at times to balance it all but I love a good challenge.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a wardrobe stylist in Houston. I mostly work with personal clients and fashion brands. I love connecting with people and showing others how to express themselves through fashion.
What were you like growing up?
I was born in Santiago, Chile, and grew up in Beaumont, Texas. We traveled a lot as a kid which I still love to travel as an adult. Growing up I wanted to become a veterinarian because I loved animals so much. Little did I know I would end up owning my own business as a wardrobe stylist.
