Today, we’d like to introduce you to Pierre Russell, . Pierre was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Patrice Griffin.
Hi Pierre, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
Goodness where do I start? My story feels like it’s just beginning, even though it’s already been eleven years.
My vision to be an entrepreneur started early In life working my family’s ranch. I was blessed early in life to be taught the lesson that you only keep what you earn.
This grit lead me to becoming a D1 collegiate athlete and then carried over into the military.
Post military at 25 I opened a sports performance training facility and developed some amazing athletes. I was blessed to work with not only professional athletes, but young athletes as early as the age of 5.
Then in 2019 SPAR Houston was born. Which has now morphed in SPAR Boxing, a national brand that inspires people to workout using boxing as our foundation.
We currently have locations in Houston, Miami and two more undisclosed locations arriving in 2022.
Please tell us more about your brand, Spar Boxing
SPAR Boxing is a brand that focuses on teaching people the sport of boxing through fitness. What’s sets us apart from any other brand is that we focus on smaller groups. This is so we can connect with our members more and create a positive, intuitive and mentally focused workout. What I am most proud of as a brand are my coaches and my members. Our coaches expect the most out of our members and the members expect the most out of our coaches.
Patrice Griffin and Patriceskids Inc. have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Patrice and Patriceskids Inc. and your experience with them.
I’ll be honest, there isn’t enough room in the article to discuss how amazing Patrice is, but I’ll do my best to keep it brief.
Patrice is a passionate, loving, enthusiastic, exceptional woman who has a tenacity about her that’s hard to not respect. She is someone who has been through some of the most traumatic experiences in life, but still continues to smile and give with her entire heart… that’s very uncommon. And if you don’t believe me read her book The Unconscious Community. and I promise your perspective on “hard times” will surely change.
We have done multiple partnerships over the past two years with Patrice’s Kids ranging from back pack drives, Christmas gifts and book drives. We’ve done toy drives and baby items for toddlers. Anything we can do to raise awareness and give back to the youth is always heart warming.
I would definitely recommend Patrice’s organization to anyone who wants to work with a passionate individual who really cares about the youth and less fortunate.
