Porsche’, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a passion for beauty. I knew before I attended the Esthetics program, I wanted to be more of a creator in the industry. I began handcrafting products from having the need to always tweak and mix products to achieve a certain result, or I needed the benefits of multiple products. Now I got into natural products because of my daughter lol she is always getting into my stuff, so I personally found the need of having products that are harmless for her sake and also simply because its good to know what’s going on your body.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all, but my struggles were more personal. I battled with a lot of self-doubts and not being true to my vision, overall getting out of my own way. For one, I’m an introvert, so I had to learn to brake out of being shy and be more social and its still progress in the making but it’s been huge progress. Two, the industry is full of people doing similar things and naturally starting out, I wanted to do what was working for everyone else, not realizing that route was not for me and became extremely discouraged but God continued to reassure me of my vision and sent people to push me. So I literally started completely over and rebuilt and now I’m put in 10x more work doing what fits me and I’m attracting my ideal customers.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Pure Euphorix – what should we know?
Pure Euphorix is a self-care brand. I not only focus on skincare but I also implement natural healing in all my products using premium ingredients like exotic oils, therapeutic grade essential oils, as well as natural minerals and botanicals. As of now, the product I am most known for is one of my original products, Sugar Paste, which is an all-natural method of hair removal but I’m hoping that will soon change because I have A LOT more great product in the works.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Curiosity, because I’m always trying to figure out the WHAT is in demand, HOW can I put my twist on the solution. I’m always looking for new ingredients to work with. That’s what makes the business fun for me.
