Today we’d like to introduce you to Pryce Bahnsen Orsak. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Born and raised in The Lone Star State, Pryce Bahnsen Orsak is a driven marketer with a passion for empowering small businesses to thrive in the fast-paced and ever-changing digital landscape. With a solid foundation laid during her academic pursuits, Pryce graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University in May of 2020, followed by earning her M.A. in Advertising from The University of Texas in December of 2021.
During her freshman year at LSU, Pryce serendipitously stumbled upon an internship opportunity with the esteemed cookbook author Holly B. Clegg. Little did she know, this experience would ignite a spark within her, leading her to transform a mere “side hustle” into Pryce Parker — a small but mighty digital agency dedicated to empowering small businesses through innovative social media marketing and digital advertising strategies.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Just like any business, it has NOT been a smooth road, but I am extremely grateful for every obstacle and challenge because it has only made me an all-around better and stronger person both professionally and personally — it has made the successes, milestones, etc., that much sweeter!
I started working for small businesses while I was attending school at both LSU and The University of Texas at Austin so that presented the challenge of juggling my full-time academic career while servicing my clientele and building a business; I quickly learned the importance of time management.
What we do and the work we do for our clientele is the easy part, but the business part — accounting, human resources, legality, etc. — has proven to be the biggest challenge for me personally, but I continue to find joy in the chaos and have learned that it is not a sign of weakness to ask for help.
Last year, I was growing very fast and had taken on more clientele than I definitely should have, and I realized I just couldn’t keep up with the demand. BUT I learned a LOT from it, hired a full-time team, and have been steadily [and healthily] growing my brand ever since; definition of growing pains, FOR SURE.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
pryceparker.com
Established [WENT FULL-TIME] in March of 2022
KNOWN FOR: We are basically a one-stop digital marketing shop for small businesses and are extremely personable — we basically are your internal digital marketing/social media team without the internal price tag/commitment.
MOST PROUD: I built this from the ground up, starting at 19.
SET APART: So much of this work has gone virtual/remote, but I make an effort to be very face-to-face and hands-on with ALL my clientele: meetings, content creation, etc. I like to get to know the client myself and immerse myself in their business/brand. Their triumphs and tribulations are our triumphs and tribulations at Pryce Parker!
OUR APPROACH: Creating brand equity, building a loyal community, telling the brand’s story through authentic storytelling and connection; NO EMPTY FOLLOWERS.
