Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire F. Shepard.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I began my spiritual journey in earnest in 1988 with the encouragement of the wonderful Dallas Psychic, John Catchings toward the end of my career in engineering design/drafting. I began studying tarot and astrology and devoted literally thousands of hours in the next years into intense research. I had a deep yearning for knowledge and to get at the roots of our existence. With astrology, I knew at once I was in the right place as it gave me the answers and solutions I had been searching for my whole life! I was completely fascinated and thrilled by every minute of it. I learned about past lives, how to interpret relationships, health, talents, the exciting indicators of soul destiny and infinitely more. In 1992, The Houston Institute of Astrology, invited me to join a 1-1/2 year long intensive course of study. I was dazzled and amazed at all that was possible with astrology.
The study of the mythology and psychology of the planets and their distinct archetypes opened new worlds for me. I later studied Black Holes, Uranians and Asteroids; particularly Chiron. Since then, I have taught astrology, been a radio guest, written for many papers, spoken to groups and worked with countless clients. I am also a trained in the use of Essential Oil Therapy and Flower Essences. My studies are ongoing.
I feel honored to serve my client’s in a phone session or in person. Through my skill as an astrologer and psychic ability, my goal is to help them discover their bliss; what will most enliven and enrich their lives. I am always available for questions.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The reading of astrology is always a challenge which is what makes it so interesting. I remind myself to take a fresh and open approach to all clients as they are unique individuals who usually surprise and inspire me with the way they work with the energy reflected in their birth charts.
My sessions often bring intimate depths of camaraderie in validating, informing and affirming my clients. This is a source of great satisfaction to me.
What are your plans for the future? What are you looking forward to or planning for – any big changes?
I plan to keep on keepin’ on with what I do as an astrologer and I would like very much to begin addressing groups and friends to discuss collective trends and what our moving into The Aquarian Age really means!
