How has the first year of business been?
Honestly, this is the first time I’ve thought about this question. As I have processed, the first year of business has been unique! I’ve honestly had a successful year and have gained so much insight and knowledge. When I first started, I offered ten vegan lashes, which sold out. Since I’ve added mink lashes, vegan lipgloss, wigs, and bundles, and makeup palettes. These are just a few examples of what I have been able to accomplish, including writing an e-book as well to help guide up-and-coming businesses on how to operate a successful online business.
What is your biggest accomplishment of the year?
Wow, these are some great questions!! My My most significant accomplishment was opening my store. I opened a store three months after being in business, which was highly successful. The store was fully operational for an entire year, and I enjoyed running it. In addition, growing my business on social media was another great accomplishment because I was able to expand my business and reach a larger audience.
What advice would you give up and coming businesses?
Never stop, and always keep going! There will be obstacles that you’ll have to overcome. However, once you get to the point of being able to solve the problems as they occur, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment.
How is being a business owner?
One of the best decisions that I have ever made. I am still amazed at how far I’ve come and the customers I’ve gained. It’s an honor to be a part of many unforgettable moments and experiences. I would recommend business owners because it’s something that you have that no one can take away from you. You make the rules, choices, and decisions, and you don’t have to worry about anyone else. That provides the most incredible sense of liberation because it fulfills a purpose and lights a fire inside you.
What’s next?
So many fun things are in the process of coming together!! My ebook is selling well, and it is on my website. The next step is to release another one that will eventually become a series of books. Also, I am excited about adding lash vending machines to the business!! That will be the next venture due to my store lease being up soon, and wanting to go to my customers and meet them where they are.
