So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I moved to US in 1997 from Mumbai, India in 1997. I started working for Software Development companies as a Developer, Analyst, Manager, then Director for over 15 years. While working for corporations, I developed severe neck and shoulder muscle pain. I met a lot of doctors in USA and India, pain management, physical therapy, accu-puncture, yoga, saw orthopedists and did steroids but none of that helped. When I started getting massages my pain suppressed. I really wanted to share to the world an alternate for people like me so they do not have to go thru what I did. My goal was to start a therapeutic massage Spa which came into reality in August 2013. We established Panacea Massage & Spa in Aug 2013. Few years later, we expanded and bought Spa located inside Hilton Hotel Post Oak.
Health and Wellness brought me into purchasing Rumor Has It Day Spa about 8 months ago. We believe in natural products for Skin and Body care. Rumor Has it was established 7 years ago and have been promoting health and wellness since then.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Road is never smooth. My family supported me at all the steps.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Rumor Has It Day Spa and Panacea Massage & Spa – what should we know?
I own 3 Spas and 1 Deli. Our specialization is in healing people that are suffering from pain. Our staff when touches clients knows where the issue is and that is the reason our clients come back to us. Our team is an amazing team. Companies are made 0f people not owner. Our people are their own mangers. They treat this spa as their own. They aren’t working for me instead they and I work for a cause which is to heal and help people. Make this world more peaceful and send people home happy and relaxed to their families.

My Husband and My Father-in-Law are the two biggest supporters. Without their help and support, it wasn’t possible. My two kids, 8 and 11 are additional support I have had. They never complained when I wasn’t there for them on holidays, weekends, and I am continuously working for past 4-5 years over 60-70 hours weekly including weekends. I haven’t been able to go back home to India to see my family for over 6 years.
As far as clients go Paul Murphy CEO Cadence Bank and his family has been a huge supporter, Annette Strake & George Strake have supported us since we established, Susan Baker and James Baker, Krome Family are just the few clients that have been loyal customers since day 1.
