Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodolfo Nunez Cueto.
Rodolfo, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved to Houston with my family two years ago with a suitcase full of dreams. I am a mechanical engineer therefore one of those dreams was to work as an engineer in the oil industry. Unfortunately I could not find a job and I found many doors closed due to the economy.
I used to work as a painter and owned a business for a short period of time in New York. After the failure of getting a job in the oil industry, I decided to open an interior and exterior painting business in Houston. With the help of my wife, I went on with this idea and we formed Rudy Professional Painting LLC. We notice that there was a need for liable and responsible painters in the area therefore we focus in good customer service, in understanding the clients’ needs and providing them with the best painting job there is.
I always put the interest of my clients first. I make sure that they are a 100% happy with the end results. By putting my clients first and doing a great job for them. I have earned great reviews in yelp, Google and other places. In a short period of time I have built a good relationship with my clients in Houston. To achieve this, I had the help of my family but most of all. I have the help of God. He has been walking with me all the time.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The only challenge I have is to find reliable painters to work with me. I am very careful when choosing who I am bringing to my clients homes.

We do interior and exterior painting and Power Washing. We specialize in interior painting and wall paper removal. I am very proud of how fast the company has grown. What sets me apart from others is that I work in a professional manner, I am careful, meticulous and detailed. But most of all is that my clients come first.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t really believe in luck. I believe in God and that with him all is possible. I always put him first and I let him open my path.
