Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron and Sheila Daniels.
Ron and Sheila, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Yes, America started as a small landscaping company. We grew rapidly as an exclusive for over 10 years to the petroleum gas station environment. We provided services and maintenance to selected gas stations; we also had the opportunity to service new buildings seeking routine maintenance. We provided all landscaping and irrigation services and routine maintenance. Our business began to grow and soon thereafter we were contacted by municipalities for landscaping contracts. We were awarded three major contracts for landscaping airports in Houston, Texas.
Sacrificing everything we had to raise our four children we decided to diversify and get into the construction business. Since we had established a great rapport with the city with the previous contracts, we were told of issues the city was having in commercial water meters. The dilemma the city faced was the water meters were not able to be read. We were then tasked with finding close to 1000 water meters so the city could bill these businesses accurately. Because of our endeavors, the city recouped a significant amount of money and continues to utilize those extra funds even still today. Since then our experience and expertise have allowed us to grow exponentially.
We were also awarded contracts for irrigation, contracts from the city of Sugarland, and contracts from the city of Richmond, Texas. We are still growing into many other opportunities, local and municipalities. We recently acquired brand new street sweepers that are in high demand due to the special functionalities that these machines possess. The sweepers are not only capable of cleaning debris, but also rejuvenate the air we breathe as well. The EPA requires certain levels to be kept in balance for safer air and cleaner roadways.
We are very fortunate to have such a close-knit company made up of family and very close friends to provide the care and concern needed to address our clientele. We have made it our motto to provide the highest level of quality and service to keep our clientele excited about doing business with us. This is largely due to the fact that we always go above and beyond our duty to make our clientele happy. For this reason, we are happily growing and achieving the American dream with the help of our clientele and our family run business.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As we began to grow our business we encountered many roadblocks. Some of these roadblocks included finding the right personnel, having our invoices paid on time, and lastly finding the necessary financial means to sustain our growth. It was also a challenge and still is to find the time to juggle our children’s needs, business, and marital relationship. We learned quickly we had to be the best at what we do and diversify into area’s we are comfortable in and have the manpower to accomplish these tasks in the utmost highest and highest professional manner possible.

Yes, America Now is a family ran business we have been in business over 25 years. We provide solutions to problems that businesses and municipalities experience and are in need of an immediate response to their problems. We provide services in irrigation systems for municipalities or large businesses. We provide street sweeping services for municipalities or large businesses needing to meet EPA clean air requirements.
We also provide concrete chipping for concrete trucks for municipalities. We offer water meter location services or locating lost meters altogether so that they are no longer required to be estimated from usage several years back. Demolition and used tire pick-up and recycling for municipalities. We are known for working with our customer’s schedules and not only getting the job done but on time and without hiccups. We have a team dedicated to the upkeep of our equipment so we do not have to delay with downtime.
Because we are a family run business we know that our customers have made us what we are today. We have a wealth of knowledge in this industry and have learned to work with the largest municipalities and have proven track record for being the best at what we do.
