Today we’d like to introduce you to Rony Aleman.
Rony, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started as a passion for cars. Me and my brothers would always be missing around with cars even if they was nothing wrong with them. And it was one of our dreams to one day have our own shop. We would always talk about what we could do or what we would do if we ever had the money to be able to have one. We started building a little shop at home that my dad started. But never got finished, Because we hit a hard stump in life. My brother passed away and times were hard for our family. And it was at this time when it really hit me that I was gonna bring our dream to reality. I kept trying to find ways to get enough money to get a shop. And then, one day me and my girlfriend agreed on selling our truck to be able to live out our dream. Wasting no time found a space and top-notch customs was born. And every day I wake up to go to the shop I do it for him and knowing he would of been so happy.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing is a smooth road. Our family never had money but we got by thanks to my mom and dad. My parents coming from another Country and not knowing anything about HOUSTON and still being able to provide and fighting for there citizenship. And then my brother passing away was the hardest part.
Top Notch Customs LLC – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We do anything from car audio, air suspension, coilovers, car accessories, wheels, led lighting, I’m most proud of the support I have gotten from friends and family and being able to work on car just like I would on my own. What sets me apart is knowing you’re not in it for the money but to see your customers happy.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me would be just to be able to make someone happy with what I love doing and for my parents to be proud of me. And to make my brother proud.
