Hi Roxanne, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My love for decorating began with holiday décor and soon grew into a passion for transforming entire spaces. This passion led me to start a home staging business, where I applied my skills in creating beautiful, functional spaces and before I knew it, I had won multiple awards for my work. After relocating to Texas, I saw it as the perfect time to expand beyond staging and share my passion for home design in a new way. That’s how Roxy Home Living came to be and it has given me an incredible opportunity to share my passion with the world while inspiring others with practical, stylish solutions for transforming their homes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road and there have been struggles along the way. A pivotal moment came when COVID-19 hit, and as a home stager, my business came to an abrupt halt. With restrictions preventing me from entering clients’ homes, it felt like everything I had worked for was suddenly at risk. However, instead of letting the situation overwhelm me, I found a new way to channel my energy. I realized that my love for interior design and creativity could still thrive, just in a different form.
I shifted my focus to content creation, combining my love for home decor and DIY home improvement. While I continued sharing my home staging experiences on social media, diving into dedicated content creation came with its own set of challenges. I had to learn new platforms, adjust to engaging with a digital audience and figure out how to authentically share my design expertise in this new space. But through perseverance and staying true to my passion, I created an outlet to inspire, educate and connect with others looking to transform their spaces, just as I had through my previous work in staging.

I specialize in offering practical, stylish solutions for home décor, holiday styling and DIY home improvement projects. What sets me apart is my background in home staging, which has shaped my approach to both décor and DIY projects. I focus on the bigger picture and how every detail, no matter how small, can elevate a room.
I’m most proud of the way my brand has evolved, creating a space where I can connect with people who share my passion for home design. It’s been a rewarding journey to inspire others, from completing my own home projects to helping others feel confident about taking on their own transformations. My goal is always to share practical tips and make the process accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Through Roxy Home Living, I want my audience to know that design doesn’t have to be intimidating. With the right tools, guidance and a little creativity, anyone can create a home that reflects their personality and style. Whether it’s tackling a simple décor update or a larger renovation project, I’m here to help guide them every step of the way.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future, I’m excited to continue growing Roxy Home Living into a trusted source for home décor inspiration, DIY home improvement and holiday styling. As I expand my content and offerings, I’m looking forward to offering courses that help others confidently embrace home transformation. These courses will allow me to share my hands-on experience and knowledge in a more structured way, guiding others through the process of creating beautiful, personalized spaces.
I’m also eager to move beyond DIYs and dive deeper into other aspects of home living, focusing on design trends and tips that help people create homes they truly love. One big goal I’m working toward is developing my own product line that perfectly aligns with my personal style and my brand’s mission of making stylish, functional design accessible to everyone.
