Today we’d like to introduce you to Saint Padilla.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ever since I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to do something on the creative side so every time I had a chance I would Vlog with my phone and post them on Instagram. After a two years break, I bought my first camera and I was so convinced that I was going to film car shows but I quickly came to realize that I wanted to be a talk show host so I grabbed six creative friends & kicked off what is now called “the night show”. First season I started with six guests then in the 2nd season I had 12 & now I’m working on the 3rd season with 25 guests.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely started off bumpy, my world began to grow faster than I could ever imagine. I was limited with my equipment & till this day I still feel like something always missing. I was also scared my parents wouldn’t support me so I sneaked guests into my room and recorded shows with them until one day I came clean. Luckily they have been very supportive & I’m very grateful for that.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started off doing talk shows & I feel like I’m more known for that, but I also do a little bit of photography & I also have a clothing brand that I’m very proud of! In the creative scene, some like to play it solo and work alone 24/7 but I love to connect and have these collaboration projects because it brings two forms of art together & also builds a connection almost like a bond, personally that’s the beauty of it.
Any big plans?
I’m releasing some pretty cool projects, we’re working on a ghost hunting series! That’s something I feel is very different & is going to change the future of the house of saints. I’m also traveling to Los Angeles and do a seven episode Night Show over there. I have the pleasure to talk to seven creatives and learn about their story and struggles. The main goal at the moment is to get a studio in Houston & use it to give back to the community, I know 2023 back to school I’m going to try to host an event where we help these kids and hopefully spark an interest in creativity.
