Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Bazoria.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Sam. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My career started at the age of 15, working in the summer with my father, brother, uncles and cousins. Building new homes, remodeling commercial buildings and restoring mobile homes. As a kid I always had a dream to one day become a great Builder globally. I mean how could I made sense when I had millions on my mind. I then told my family and friends I would spend my life building and that I did. At the age of 18 my dad took me to apply to the company he was working as a Drywall/Framing Carpenter Marek Brothers System. That was I believe the best move I ever did. This company became the platform for my success. As I started my journey with Marek. I started to notice the Project Managers/Superintendents around me. One day Tellepsen the General Contractor in charge of the medical facility we were working on made a Safety Lunch with nearly 500 workers all from different trades, and the Operations Manager Saied Alavi with several important Project Managers were invited. The gathering lasted nearly 2 Hours and it was enough to be noticed by the Big Bosses. That day Mr. Alavi wanted to say a couple words to the workforce and the Foreman translator called in sick, the perfect moment to be taken to the next level. I quickly jumped out of the audience and offered to translate to the crowd. Everyone liked it and understood every word he was trying to convey to the public, that he left telling my Supervisors Dennis Hudgens and Arthur Emhling Jr. he wanted a full report from me every week. After that my Foreman gave me the responsibility to become his Tool Manager and sent me to all the Company Classes to learn all about running a project to reading Blueprints, Job Cost Summaries and Schedules. After a period of 2 years the company promoted me to Estimator/Expeditor for Oak Forest Lumber a Sister company(My First Office). My ambition grew dramatically and then prepared me for the next level. After a period of 2 years I then was noticed by a Multi-million Dollar Custom Home Builder. Belmont Custom Homes Inc. Mr. Charles Bo Whiteford The 3rd. He became my teacher and mentor where I would then start working on building companies. My first company I created was a Freelance Construction Estimating Consulting Company. Where I made $80,000.00 my first year running it part-time. Over the years I managed to gather and cherish every lesson and failure to better myself to a point where my heart became an infinity stone. With technology now in days it is very easy to obtain knowledge never discovered/stored before. I believe we are in the best moment ever to become wealthy rich.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honest truth it has been a though road, but overall a fun one. Every day for the past 15 years has been a true adventure. My goal is to become the face of construction for the new generation.
Bazoria – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
With time I met several starting companies such as A Quick Restoration Inc. who I had the opportunity to establish their commercial department. Over the years I have developed many relationships to the point where the opportunity arrived to create my construction company. The road has been very hard but every small victory got me closer to my eventual goal. I now own a one million dollar company, and this year we are expected to increase our revenues to two million this year. I oversee both my freelancing & Interior Finish company. As a construction entrepreneur, I have had the opportunity to travel the world from Russia Moscow/Saint Petersburg, Paris France, Honolulu Hawaii, Cairo Egypt, Canada, Jerusalem Israel, Jordan Petra, Palestine, Istanbul Turkey, Cancun Mexico to name a few. I believe in the law of attraction as well as visualization which to me are fuel and guidance to success.
My construction companies are based on the following departments: Acoustical Ceilings, Drywall, Sheathing, Framing, FRP, Painting, Insulation, Doors, Door Frame Installation, Hardware, Nichiha, Demolition, Backing, ADA Restroom Hardware. What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I often sit in my office and take my attention back in time and remember all those late night assignments I would give myself, the late hours reading to gain information. The days without sleep. It was all hard work. I can say passion, discipline, ambition and vision you can manifest anything.
