Our story began with a simple vision: to build a family business rooted in quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. After spending more than 20 years in the electrical trade, I developed a strong foundation of experience and a reputation for doing things the right way. Eventually, I felt it was time to take a step of faith and create something of my own — a business that reflected my values and the level of service I believe clients deserve.
Launching C Electrical was a family effort from the start. My wife Aracely played a major role in getting the business off the ground — from developing our brand and organizing operations to building our marketing presence and helping create the structure that allows us to grow. Her support and involvement helped turn the idea of starting a company into a real, functioning business.
C Electrical grew with a clear commitment to delivering dependable work and earning trust through every project. As the business developed, I expanded my focus into lighting design, which quickly became one of my favorite aspects of what we offer. Lighting has the power to transform a space, and bringing that creative element into the trade has been incredibly rewarding.
We’re still a growing business, and we’re proud of that. Most of our work comes from referrals, repeat clients, and the support of the Friendswood community. Every year brings new opportunities and lessons, and we’re grateful for the steady progress we’ve made. What started as a small step toward independence has evolved into a business we continue to shape, improve, and build for the future.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like many small businesses, our journey hasn’t been without challenges. Starting from the ground up requires long hours, patience, and a willingness to learn through every stage. In the beginning, the work wasn’t always consistent, and we had to navigate the realities of growing a client base, managing expenses, and balancing business responsibilities with family life.
There were challenges in determining fair pricing, establishing efficient processes, and earning trust in a competitive market. Over time, those experiences helped us build resilience, improve our systems, and understand how to better serve our clients.
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s been worth it. Every setback became a lesson, and every lesson helped strengthen the foundation of C Electrical.
